Should I take Paracetamol(Panadol) or Acetaminophen?!

Drugs are called in 3 different ways:
1. Chemical name
2. Generic name
3. Trade name
Depending on the country you are living in, it might be popular to call the drugs in any of these forms for example here in U.A.E drugs are known by their trade names whereas in Iran drugs are called by their generic names as the country produces its own pharmaceuticals so mentioning international trade names e.g. Panadol does not make sense over there.
Now regarding our topic, Paracetamol and Acetaminophen are both a generic name for the same chemical formula which is C8H9NO2
The chemical name of it is:para-acetylaminophenol
The word "acetaminophen" is a shortened form of N-acetyl aminophenol, and was coined and first marketed by McNeil Laboratories in 1955 The word "paracetamol" is a shortened form of para-acetyl-amino-phenol,and was coined by Frederick Stearns & Co in 1956.
Trade names: Panadol, Tylenol, ...
To summ it up: There is no difference between Acetaminophen and Paracetamol. They are two different generic names for the same chemical formula.
