Founder of La Botanica Herbals

Salam!
Soha is writing----the maker of these herbals!
I have done my bachelors in Pharmacy & my Masters of Medical Sciences in Pharmacology & Toxicology!
My Soaps are Herbal & are Hand Made by the cold process technique! But why do I prefer to make my own soaps?!
Telling you the truth, at first it was not due to scientific facts or anything like that! It just came to my mind to try making my own soaps!
But as I started to make soaps, I started applying what I had learned from Herbal Medicines, and after using my own soaps, I got really amazed feeling the difference between the factory made soaps and the ones I am making by the ingredients I prefer to use and omitting the ones I don't want them in! such as artificial colorants, artificial perfumes, sulfates & the Pig fat!
Thanks to God , I ended up with amazing formulations that made me stick to these natural products and not to go back to the factory made versions!
Honestly speaking, I am not totally against the factory-made products! if you think that products you see in Pharmacies or retail stores are all chemicals,  you have been given the wrong information! These products all benefit from Herbs!
However,  Some chemist use chemicals to duplicate the structure of the plant constitutes; but, nevertheless all are based on what is found in nature! The main problem with those products are the additives used in them for different purposes!
Yet am not totally against them, But I RECOMMEND to go natural as far as possible!
You have to be cautious with natural products too, since not all of them are authentic, and some plants could be mistaken for other similar family members by non-experts!
Plants are not totally safe to use as simple as!
Always keep in mind that  "too much" of anything can be Toxic!
More over, some plants have a very narrow therapeutic index i.e. they don't give the therapeutic effect in low dose and if you go little bit further of the required dose, they will cause fatal toxicity! A famous example of plants with narrow therapeutic index is Digitalis! It acts on the heart but little more or little less of it makes it either a killer or a non-beneficial plant for the patient! In these sort of cases, I rather factory made medicines that can measure more precisely the levels of the active ingredients!
To  sum it up: Always Take Care!

My Warm Regards and Best Wishes for You,
