The extracts from Z. spina-christi could be useful in the treatment of nosocomial infections, opportunistic infection of the urinary tract (UTI), infantile gastroenteritis, travelers‟ diarrhea, meningitis and wounds infection (Asgarpanah & Haghighat, 2012).
Molecular docking studies on NF-κ B pathway proteins (that causes the inflammation) demonstrated that the active compounds of the plant,
shared comparable docking poses and binding energies with MG-132, a known NF-B inhibitor. (Pommerening et. al. ,2016) -
What are Essential Oils?
The cells that give a plant its fragrant smell are its "essence." When an essence is extracted from a plant, it becomes an essential oil!
Essential oils are plant extracts made by steaming or pressing various parts of a plant to capture the compounds that produce fragrance. It can take several pounds of a plant to produce a single bottle of essential oil. In addition to creating scent, essential oils perform other functions in plants, too.
Some studies indicate that there's a benefit to using essential oils while others show no improvement in symptoms. Results of lab studies are promising — one at Johns Hopkins found that certain essential oils could kill a type of Lyme bacteria better than antibiotics — but results in human clinical trials are mixed.

What do we mean by Sulfate Free Soaps?
Sulfate compounds are found in many personal care products such as toothpaste, body sprays, lotions, make-up, soaps, shampoos etc.
Sulfates are widely available in nature and also easily synthesized in industries. Therefore, this chemical compound has applications in a wide variety of instances
The hazards and health effects most likely depend on each sulphate and its concentration.

The Saponification Process
Saponification is the hydrolysis of an ester under basic conditions. The direct products are a carboxylic acid salt (That is the soap) and an alcohol (Glycerol). -
Do Hand Made Soaps Work Like Any Other Soap Against The Corona Virus?
Any soap will protect you. Standing in the soap aisle, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by choice. But when it comes down to the chemistry, soaps will all work against the novel coronavirus. -
Hand Sanitizer or Soap: making an informed choice for COVID-19
Corona-viruses get their name from the ‘corona’ surrounding the virus—specifically, the protein spikes embedded in its surface. The spikes, which are responsible for infecting the host, are anchored into a membrane. The membrane is the ‘shell’ of the virus. This is the coronavirus’ weak point.
